    Phase 01

    Class 9 – 10 (Age 14–16)

    School Foundations (CBSE / ICSE / State Board)

    Build a strong base in the subjects that matter most for a future Site Reliability Engineer. Aim for 85%+ in board exams.

    • Focus subjects: Mathematics, Science (Physics focus), Computer Applications, English
    • Score well in Class 10 boards — keeps every stream open
    • Try foundation courses for JEE Main if interested early
    • Explore through school clubs, olympiads, and small projects

    Phase 02

    Class 11 – 12 (Age 16–18)

    Choose Your Stream — Science (PCM) after Class 10

    Pick the right 10+2 combination so you are eligible for the entrance exams that lead to Site Reliability Engineer roles.

    • Subjects to take: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science / Informatics Practices, English
    • Start coaching or self-study for: JEE Main & JEE Advanced (for IITs)
    • Maintain Class 12 board score (many colleges have cut-offs)
    • Shortlist 8–10 target colleges and their eligibility

    Clear the right competitive exam in India and complete an undergraduate programme aligned to Site Reliability Engineer.

    • Competitive exams to target: JEE Main, JEE Advanced (for IITs), BITSAT, State CETs (MHT-CET, KCET, WBJEE)
    • Undergraduate routes: B.Tech / B.E. in CSE, IT, ECE (IITs, NITs, IIITs, BITS); BCA + MCA; B.Sc. Computer Science
    • Build first skill in parallel: React
    • Do 1–2 internships during college (Internshala, LinkedIn, campus)
